Big Start to a Big Tournament

The Return No-Limit Hold’em event opens the WSOP tournament. Occurring over a span of two days, the Texas Hold’em games are expected to attract a large turnout not only because of the sizable prize pool of $1 million, but also because of the affordable buy-in of $50.

The second big happening at the competition is the Caesars Cares Charity Event, which showcases the importance that the WSOP places on giving back to the community. Here, part of the $1,111 buy-in is earmarked for the Nevada COVID-19 Relief Fund, a charitable organization.

Players will receive the opportunity to win an impressive prize in the Millionaire Maker. The buy-in, at $1,500 is a considerable amount. However, it comes with a whopping prize pool of $5 million. The 2-day Super Millions High Roller No-Limit Hold’em likewise offers a $5 million guaranteed prize pool, with a buy-in of $10,000. The Super High Roller Championship No-Limit Hold’em has the highest buy-in at $25,000. It also has a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million.

Those looking for a more affordable buy-in can consider the FLIP & GO No-Limit Hold’em event. The buy-in for it is $200 and it has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million. Meanwhile, the WSOP Bounty Double Millions has a similarly priced buy-in at $210 with double the guaranteed prize pool at $2 million.

Big Bucks and More

In keeping with other online poker tournaments, the WSOP Online features a grandiose Main Event. With a $5,000 buy-in, it starts on August 29, 2021, and offers a mammoth prize pool guarantee amounting to $20 million.

In September 2020, the WSOP Online Main Event set a Guinness World Record for the biggest prize pool, with more than $27.5 million paid out. Anticipation is running high over whether the 2021 event will break that record.

In addition to receiving a huge prize, the winner is also added to GGPoker’s elite Team Champions list. This exclusive group includes Swedish player Niklas Astedt, who has won more than $34 million over the course of his online poker career.

There are several other perks that lie in wait for the Main Event winner. Besides being awarded with a custom GGPoker avatar and GGPlatinum FishBuffet status, a $50,000 tournament entry package will also be provided to the champion. A unique GGPoker affiliate code is another prize that will be conferred to the winner.
